useful as a starting point. Each church and Christian organisation has a separate page on
this site — where that church or organisation has its own website, there will be a

This directory lists the churches in Luton, Dunstable and
surrounding villages in Post Code regions LU1-LU6, Barton-le-Clay & a few villages
just over the border in Hertfordshire. If we’ve missed out your church, please let us
know, so that we can add it. In most cases, the address given is that of the
actual place of worship — if you wish to mail a church, you are advised to check
whether it has facilities for receiving post first. |

The Aims of this Website are:

To enable and facilitate communication between churches and
individuals of diverse Christian traditions. |

To provide & resource all Christians in the region with a
detailed, non-sectarian, non-denominational, hopefully unbiased, listing of all the
churches and Christian organisations available to us. |

To demonstrate that Christians in our region are not alone, are not
working for the Lord in a vacuum, but that there are many very good people in our region,
working towards a single purpose, to lead people to a knowledge of Jesus Christ, and to
bring them into a relationship with the Lord. |

To remind Christians that we need to learn how to agree to disagree
in love, and to direct our focus to Christ; that although in this life we will probably
never agree on all the finer points of doctrine, whilst we are fixing our corporate gaze
on each other’s doctrinal differences, people are dying who have never known the love
of God. |

To celebrate the rich diversity of the Kingdom of God; to rejoice
in the differences that make each of us unique, whilst working together for the sake of
the Gospel of Jesus Christ. |
